Iowa State athletics director Jamie Pollard told KCCI that Saturday’s Homecoming game against West Virginia will be his last home game and last day in the office, accelerating an exit originally framed for as late as June 30, 2027. Pollard said he will attend Big 12 meetings next week and Iowa State’s Oct. 9 game at BYU, then work remotely until the school names a successor sometime in mid-October; no interim has been announced.
